Yuba Raj Adhikari

Yuba Raj’s work is naive with amazing piercing eyes.   There is a true charm to these pieces.  The first four are from my first trip.   I had noticed a lovely “Dangeres Dog” sign right around the corner and asked for something like that.  These first four signs are on a recycled piece of metal and are almost as interesting on the back as on the front.  I believe that the four signs assembled from the back read Kala (Art in the Nepali language).   His second set of Dogs have a real sense of “rescue me”.

When we first met, Yuba Raj Adhikari worked out of Royal Arts near Mahendrapul in Pokhara.  Luckily I was able to find him again, in his new shop.

Contact me at ampage1@gmail.com to order or I will answer any questions.   Every Danger Dog (and Cat) has a unique story.
