Sanjib is the only artist I’ve worked with that is not a signboard artist.   He came to me through a mutual friend who has hired Sanjib to paint murals, his gates, even his shower curtain.   Sanjib had never painted on metal before nor done lettering which he subcontracts.  Sanjib has his own extensive collection of images of horses and birds.   So when I met him, that’s what I ordered!    Like all the artists, I give him complete autonomy when asked such questions as what color background, full size or close up -- “You’re the artist,”   I reply.

He does not have a studio as such and therefore he delivers at my guesthouse garden.
